Not before time, some might say but there is a lot of interest in sustainability at the moment. Be it FSC, chain of custody, Energy Management, Ecovadis or SEDEX, Corporate Social responsibility is under the spot light. I have concerns about the self assessment questionaire approach of the latter two. A purely documentation review by an assessor from a different continent does seem a flawed process. Although a lot of big players rely on the schemes.
