The long awaited up date to ISO9001 is now planned for September 2026.
It will address modern challenges in Quality Management including sustainability and digitalisation and the use of AI.

The revision of ISO 9001, originally expected in 2025, is now slated for release in 2026. This revision will focus on updates related to digital transformation, sustainability, enhanced risk management, and simplified processes for SMEs. The revised standard is expected to maintain the core structure of ISO 9001:2015 while clarifying specific requirements and incorporating new terminology and concepts.
